How to wash jeans

Jeans are highly durable, and indigo dye possesses inherent antibacterial properties; ordinary jeans only need to be washed after being worn five to ten times.

Washing

① Turn inside out to prevent friction and snagging.
② Cold water wash denim—heat causes fading and shrinkage.
③ Use a gentle cycle or hand wash embroidered jeans; avoid aggressive agitation.
④ Use mild detergent; no bleach, no fabric softener.
⑤ Wash less often—spot-clean whenever possible.
⑥ Never wring or twist; press gently to remove water.

① No tumble dry—heat causes shrinkage, distortion, and loosened embroidery threads.
② Air dry denim flat or hang dry, away from direct sunlight.
③ Reshape while damp; gently smooth back to its original shape.

Ironing

① Fold, don't hang—hanging stretches denim.
② Keep embroidered side up or separated with cloth to prevent friction.
③ Use breathable cotton bags or simply fold.
④ Store away from sunlight in a dry place.
